The 12th
annual
Bergen Bike Tour
will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
The Bergen Bike Tour provides a great opportunity for individuals and
families to enjoy fun and wholesome activities while supporting two
outstanding local organizations: Tomorrow's Children's Fund and the
Volunteer Center of Bergen County.
All activities take place at Darlington Park, in Mahwah, NJ. Routes of
10, 25, and 50 miles are designed to accommodate riders of every ability, from the beginner to the skilled
cycling enthusiast. All routes wind through some of Bergen County's most
scenic areas.
All
cyclists are expected to turn in $100 per individual or $200 per
family to support our beneficiary charities: the Volunteer
Center of Bergen County and Tomorrows Children's Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center. Check out how
to raise funds...click

In an effort to draw attention to conservation of
resources, this year’s Bergen Bike Tour is “going green.”
In
addition to raising funds, the Bergen Bike Tour is encouraging the
use of bicycles to save energy, promote healthful exercise, and
appreciate the joys of the great outdoors. This year’s event will also produce
printed materials on recycled paper, use locally produced and/or
locally grown products, and recycle as much as possible afterwards.
We’ll also have information available at the event on how everyone
can help conserve precious natural resources.
